Bird Names World Translator Description
The app with all the bird names of the world in 33 languages, included the scientific name. Easy and fast for bird watchers, birding guides and when you get in contact with foreigners. With the text-to-speech feature you can even let the app pronounce the name in a foreign language. Great for ornithology, at home and in the field.The bird names are according to the latest World Bird list - version 5.3
You can either select one of the nine regions or select worldwide.
Bird families are added since this apps' version 2.0

The complete list with more than 11,000 names is split in 9 regions and the following languages are complete: Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish and, of course, Scientific.
Bird names in African, Arabic, Basque, Bulgarian, Catalan, Frisian, Greek, Icelandic, Slovenian, Turkish and Ukrainian are not (yet) complete. We will add them as soon as they become available.
The graphics should fit all Android devices.
